Welcome to the Richard O. Benton website
| Richard O. Benton lives in the northwest hills of
Connecticut with his wife, a dog and two cats. In his rural
setting he has written over two hundred short stories and articles,
both fiction and non-fiction. He has written two stage
plays, Auditioning Fatherhood, and The Grass is Greener, Isn't
It? Having tried nearly every genre for size, he has
also dabbled in
poetry, but his real love is found in a good work of fiction.
Many of his articles and stories have been published in local and regional newspapers, in magazines and also on-line. He
has completed Moonlight Man, a now adventure novel
which examines why evil nearly triumphs over good but must lose
in the end. He is currently working on The Mission, a hopeful post apocalypse
story of great breadth. On his future timeline are three
additional book projects, as well as a sequel for his first book
with the working title, My Wish Is Might.
